About This Workshop

From Cuff to Algorithm

You'll learn what blood pressure is and how it is measured traditionally. Then you'll discover how digital monitors capture and process data using sensors and algorithms. You'll get a clear picture of the journey from physical measurement to the numerical results on the screen.

Inside the Open-Source Device

Miloš Rašić, a master's graduate in electrical engineering with a focus on robotics and biotechnology, will present his device developed as part of his master's research. You'll learn how the device simultaneously collects multiple signals — cuff pressure, ECG, PPG, and stethoscope audio — and how this data is used for algorithm testing and analysis.

Mechanics, Electronics, and Software

Take a closer look at the design of Miloš's device and see how the mechanical, electronic, and software components are interconnected. You'll see how all the parts work together to enable accurate measurements and flexibility in research — and how an interdisciplinary approach opens up new possibilities in medical technology.

About the Instructor

The workshop is led by Miloš Rašić, a master's graduate in electrical engineering and computer science. With a focus on robotics and biotech, Miloš bridges the worlds of hardware and software to bring participants closer to the process of developing advanced technological products. Through extensive experience with industrial drones, robotic systems, and telemedicine, he demonstrates how engineering theory translates into functional innovations and successful startup projects.
