A practical introductory 3D printing workshop for complete beginners. In the first workshop, you’ll create a simple model (a personalized desk nameplate), prepare it for printing, and start printing during the workshop. If printing isn’t complete by the end of the session, you’ll pick up the nameplates at the second workshop. The workshop is designed as a two-part series — we recommend attending both sessions.
This is a practical introductory 3D printing workshop for complete beginners. The goal of day one is simple: for everyone to create a small printable object and prepare it for 3D printing.
We’ll start with a quick trial example so you can immediately see what the printing process looks like and what to pay attention to. Then everyone prepares their own small object: a personalized desk nameplate, customized with your text and style. Finally, we’ll print the first projects together during the workshop.
On the first workshop, we’ll start printing (trial example and first projects). If some objects aren’t finished by the end of the session, you’ll pick them up at the second workshop.
Important: This is a two-part workshop. Please register and attend both sessions (January 14th and 15th) to complete the experience.
We’ll start printing at the first workshop. If some objects aren’t finished by the end of the session, you’ll pick them up the next day.
To keep things faster and more reliable, we’ll print in one filament color, which we’ll choose by a quick vote at the start.
The workshop is led by Miloš Rašić, M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. With a focus on robotics and biotech, Miloš bridges the worlds of hardware and software to help participants understand the development process of advanced technological products. Through extensive experience working with industrial drones, robotic systems, and telemedicine, he demonstrates how engineering theory translates into functional innovations and successful startup projects.
