Design Love: 3D Print Personalized Valentine's Gifts

Introductory 3D printing workshop with a special occasion: Valentine’s Day! Learn 3D design and printing basics while making a small personalized token with a message for your loved ones. Everyone will have a personal gift!

About This Workshop

From digital idea to tangible proof of love

Why buy a generic gift when you can design something completely unique? This workshop combines technology and emotion — you’ll learn 3D printing basics while creating a small personalized token for Valentine’s Day.

We start with a brief introduction to 3D printing, but quickly move to hands-on work. Everyone designs their own small token (keychain or medallion) with an engraved name, initials, or short love message. Through the design process, you’ll learn CAD modeling basics and how to prepare a model for printing.

The focus is on fast and reliable printing — you’ll design something that will definitely be finished by the end of the workshop, so you leave with a gift in hand!

What will you learn?

  • 3D printing basics: how FDM printers work, what filament is, and how objects are created layer by layer.
  • Creating in Fusion 360: using basic tools to model tokens with text.
  • Design for fast printing: how to create a model that prints quickly and reliably (15-30 minutes).
  • Personalization: adding names, initials, or short messages (e.g., “14.02”, “Love”, initials).
  • Print preparation: how models are “sliced” into layers in slicer software and what the critical parameters are.
  • Your project: design and print a small personalized Valentine’s Day token.

Goal: For everyone to leave with their own finished personalized token — a small but meaningful gift made with their own hands!

Why sign up?

  • For absolute beginners: no prior knowledge required — everything starts from scratch.
  • Emotional value: you’ll design something with personal meaning, not just a technical exercise.
  • Guaranteed result: you leave with a finished gift you made yourself — no waiting!
  • Perfect timing: gift ready for Valentine’s Day!
  • Complete experience: you’ll see the entire process from idea to finished object in one workshop.

Your personalized token:

  • Shape: small keychain or medallion (3-4 cm diameter)
  • Engraving: name, initials, date, or short message (e.g., “Love”, “Forever”, “14.02.2026”)
  • Color: one filament color (chosen by vote at the start)
  • Print time: 15-30 minutes — ready during the workshop!

About the instructor

The workshop is led by Miloš Rašić, M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. With a focus on robotics and biotech, Miloš bridges the worlds of hardware and software to help participants understand the development process of advanced technological products. Through extensive experience working with industrial drones, robotic systems, and telemedicine, he demonstrates how engineering theory translates into functional innovations — and now, into gifts from the heart!
