About the lecturer

Her work focuses on biotechnology and the discovery of new enzymes from natural sources that can be applied in treating bacterial infections. The enzymes she studies break down components of bacterial biofilm matrices or disrupt bacterial communication, contributing to the development of new medical approaches.
